Well it finally warmed up a little for us to make it out to the pumpkin patch. Everybody must've had the same thought because it was super crowded. We met another family there and had a great time. I thought Peyton would not like the hay-rack ride to the patch, but she LOVED it! All the kids ended up with green pumpkins for some reason.
Here's Peyton's impression as a monkey - it cracks me up every time she does it! I'm not sure where she got this but she started it this morning after watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Maybe I should have her dress up as a monkey for Halloween instead of a bunny!
My favorite time of year has arrived. Here are a couple pictures of the girls taken this weekend. We are going to try to hit the pumpkin patch this weekend so I'll post more pics. Hopefully, it won't be too cold!
I can't believe it's August already - where has the summer gone?! We have been keeping very busy this summer. Daddy built the girls a playset in the backyard, which they absolutely love! Then we try to take advantage of the weekends and have been keeping busy with activities such as Mommy and the girls visit to the Farmer's Market every Saturday morning, going to see the farm animals at Deanna Rose Farmstead, playing at Monkey Bizness and hanging out at the Johnson County Museum of History (where you can see pictures of the future Dr. Parker Aucoin). Here are a few pics of our summer activities...
We ventured out for our first family vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks in June. The girls had a great time hanging out with Mommy & Daddy and swimming at the pool. We kept it low-key and mainly hung out at the resort but did get a chance to go to Ha Ha Tonka Park to see the castle ruins. We had a great time and look forward to making this a family tradition.
